To track your mileage – and to help keep you motivated – check out these Excel-based training logs. To use, simply download and install to your computer the tool you prefer and start logging.
This log by runners David Hays and Alan Rube allows you to track your weekly, monthly and year-to-date mileage; shoe use; and heart-rate and weight data. It also features various calculators, as well as separate worksheets to track your race results and create/track a self-defined training plan.
Thinnmann’s log also allows you to track your weekly, monthly and year-to-date mileage; shoe use; and heart-rate and weight data. It also features the ability for you to enter barefoot-running times, a cycling and swimming worksheet and diet periodization calculators (based on Chris Carmichael’s Food for Fitness).
